Who we are
Our Cleaning Company is a cleaning business based in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, run by Beth. We are responsible for the personal information you give us.
What we collect
- Quote form: your name, phone number, email address (if you give it), postcode, details about your property and the clean you need, your preferred contact method and times, any notes, and any photo you choose to upload.
- WhatsApp, phone and email: your name, number or email address and anything you tell us in your messages.
- Customers: your address, access arrangements and the details we need to carry out and invoice your clean.
How we use it
We use your information only to reply to your enquiry, give you a quote, arrange and carry out your clean, invoice you and keep in touch about your bookings. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and performing that contract. We never sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.
Where it's stored
Quote form submissions are processed and stored by Netlify, which hosts this website, and are sent to us by email. Netlify may store this information outside the UK, with the safeguards UK data protection law requires. WhatsApp messages are handled under WhatsApp's own privacy policy. We keep information only for as long as we need it, and we clear out old enquiries regularly. Customer records are kept for as long as needed for our accounts and legal obligations.
Cookies
This website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. If you choose to open the map on our Areas page, Google Maps loads and may set its own cookies. Nothing loads from Google until you press the button.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email beth@ourcleaningcompany.co.uk and we'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
